We combine our practical experience and knowledge of healthcare to provide solutions for the NHS in a number of areas, including GP practices, NHS walk in centres, out of hour services, prison healthcare and clinical assessment treatment services.

The environment within which primary care services operate is experiencing the greatest change in its history, with a growing desire for the NHS and independent sector to work together to give NHS patients the best experience.

 CATS (Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service) is an innovative scheme designed to improve efficiency in healthcare delivery and to support our NHS Partners to release hospital capacity for patients with more complex and urgent needs. The scheme introduces extended primary care services in the specialties which most require additional capacity, to achieve the 18 week waiting times target (from referral to treatment).

 Care UK will provide the service from two mobile clinics each consisting of five inter-connected relocatable trailers with support vehicles.  One clinic will visit four sites twice every 4 weeks and the other clinic will visit 3 sites twice every 4 weeks. The sites will be based at various sites around Manchester including Bolton, Rochdale, Oldham, Denton, Trafford, Longsite and Salford.
